MatchLog is focused on addressing the age-old problem statement in the container logistics industry - that of dry runs or empty runs, that is, when a container is on the move without cargo inside. MatchLog, today offers and integrates multi-modal transportation services across India & Middle East. The optimization algorithm is created by using multiple channel partners including Ports & Terminals, Shipping Lines, Importers & Exporters and Transporters.

The goal of MatchLog to is identify, optimize and thereby eliminate any dry run of the trailers and containers anywhere in the hinterland. Other than the economic viability, the key driving factor at Matchlog is the ability to create a meaningful and positive impact for the environment at grassroots level by reducing the carbon footprint by eliminating the dry runs.

We are a purpose-driven brand, and we seek individuals with experience in brand management in the logistics business for our brand communication position.

Job Description:- 

• Develop and execute an effective Marketing, Social Media, and public relations strategy to meet the business objectives within schedule and budget. 

• Establish a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media. Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within industry media. 

• Concept, write and publish press releases, newsletters, ads, blogs, and other digital and print materials that resonate with the Company's target market. 

• Develop a cohesive strategy for and between the Company website, social media, and other digital resources and media. • Keep the Company website vital through constantly fresh and current content and design. 

• Use marketplace insights to develop written and visual content that engages customers and prospects. 

• Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice. 

• Respond to messages, comments, and mentions on all platforms. 

• Manage media inquiries and interview requests. 

• Collaborate with sales professionals, external vendors, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both internal audiences and external customers and prospects. 

• Conduct periodic competitive audits. 

• Maintain an understanding of industry trends affecting customers and make appropriate recommendations regarding the communication strategy surrounding them. 

• Assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site collateral. 

• Prepare an annual tactic plan, utilizing department and company strategies to guide and focus ideas.

And a monthly status update to communicate and document progress 

Job Specification:-

• Proven working experience as Brand Manager/ Marketing Manager

• Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives

• Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns

• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix

• Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind

• Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers

• Outstanding communication skills

• Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices in the industry.
